...on pattern design


 In adapting the matrix analysis of the teapot handle, I wanted to focus on the motion of change in the handle along with the idea of how the surface breaks down.




Looking closer at trying to connect the changes within the handle.

    Are handles different from each other or they are the same?

    This is a great abstraction from the original handle. It is completely different but still gives the me the sense that I want to grab it. The pattern might be made more interesting by allowing the objects to weave together instead of just one set on top of another.

    I like the system of mirroring, overlaying, and repetition used to create this new abstract pattern that could easily be repeated in a tile formation!
